A University of Denver Presidential Debate 2012 event:
Speaking as a “reporter in the field,” David Von Drehle addresses the changing presidential campaign process and how it affects and is influenced by the media. A Q&A session immediately follows the lecture. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. for a special slideshow of historic photographs of past presidential visits to the DU campus, presented by Steve Fisher, University Historian.
About the Speaker
A DU alum, Von Drehle is an Editor-at-large for Time magazine, was formerly a senior writer and editor with the Washington Post, and is an author of three books. In 1994, he won the university’s Ammi Hyde Award for Recent Graduate Achievement.
